The Lodge was originally built by a British resident in the late 19th century and was subsequently acquired by the Nawab of Bhikampur, Rehmatullah Khan Sherwani. This summer house of the erstwhile Nawab exudes an unmistakable aura of a bygone regal era.

Signature & Classic Rooms

Bhikampur Lodge comprises of four spacious and elegantly designed rooms with an old world charm besides two heritage suites and an independent two-bedroom cottage - 'Writers Cottage'.
Rooms are categorised as 'Signature Rooms' and 'Classic Rooms' and are equipped with all modern facilities such as LCD Televisions, Oil Heaters, Coffee/Tea maker, Ayurvedic bath amenities, etc. The Signature rooms additionally have a cozy fireplace and bay windows that overlook the charming greens of Nainital. Both Signature & Classic Rooms accommodate two adults, however can comfortably accommodate a small family with permissible extra occupancy of 1 adult or 2 children.


Heritage Suites

The Nawab Sahab & Begum Sahibha`s suites are the two heritage suites opposite each other. Separated by a royal tea lounge, each suite comprises of two bedrooms with plush interiors and sit-outs and one common bathroom. These suites are perfect for a family of 4 adults / children and we do not encourage extra occupancy in the suites.
The suites come furnished with all the modern amenities like TV, Wi-Fi Internet, Coffee/Tea maker, Ayurvedic bath amenities, etc. The suites are bathed in the morning sunlight and offer a relaxing view of the Kumaon hillside.


The Writers Cottage

The Writers Cottage provides the experience of a cabin ensconced in the hills, where one can find inspiration to transform even the very mundane into a work of art! An independent cottage within the compound is a set of two adjoining bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a private sit-out, an attached kitchenette for facilitating the long staying guests.
Exuding a classical ambiance, this independent two-bedroom cottage is a charming suite for anyone seeking clarity and focus in calm and relaxed surroundings.

Nainital lies nestled amidst the eight beautiful lakes of Kumaon, which includes Bhimtal, Sattal and Naukuchiatal. It offers a plethora of exciting activities to suit the tastes of all kinds of travelers.

Nature Walks & Treks
Treks to nearby places - Pangot, Kilbury, Tiffin Top and Cheena Peak traverse through regions rich in flora and fauna and offer spectacular views of snow peaked Himalayas.

Rock Climbing
Along with many natural sites, there is also a special wall for rock climbing aficionados. Climbers are provided with proper supervision of an instructor and adequate safety equipment.

Boating & Cable Car Rides
Spend an afternoon by renting rowing boats or paddle boats to enjoy a beautiful view from the Naini Lake. Boating here is a safe and fun activity.

Cable cars provide you with an aerial view of the city from Mallital up to Snow View.

Nainital is easily accessible by both rail and road. About 7 hours from the city of Delhi, you can either drive or take the Train till Kathgodam Railway Station, followed by a short mountain drive. The train and bus schedule is mentioned below for your convinience.

Buses till Haldwani / Kathgodam are availble every two-three hours from Anand Vihar Bus Station, New Delhi.
From New Delhi, take the NH-24, by-passing Moradabad, and head for Ramnagar. From Ramnagar, the route via Kaladungi passes through Bazpur and Swar. An alternative route goes via Haldwani and passes through Bilaspur and Rudrpaur.
